According to the latest count, the death toll from Tuesday’s Russian missile attack on a military institute in the central Ukrainian city of Poltava has reached 55 as the rescue operation was completed, the emergency service said today. The total number of injured reached 328, the service announced in a post on the Telegram application. Why Poltava was finally hit After the new data, analysts – different from those who adopted the first information – considered that the strike was aimed at weakening the Donbas front. In particular, soldiers are trained in the city for the front and mainly in technological and accounting matters. Should training in this area be interrupted or halted entirely, the Ukrainian military will face shortages in critical areas where Russia has or seeks the upper hand. Source: RES
