UN aid agencies have been able to help up to 900,000 people in Ukraine so far, but will have to receive assurances from the warring parties that they can do more, a spokesman said.
“It’s good, but it’s not enough,” said Jens Lerke, a spokesman for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Separately, Jarno Habicht, spokesman for the World Health Organization in Ukraine, said 72 people had been killed and 40 injured in 74 attacks on medical facilities in the country.
