THE Ukraine and the Russia interested in the UN nuclear agency’s proposal to create a buffer zone around the nuclear power plant of Zaporizhia which has been occupied by the Russians, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi revealed on Monday (12/9).
As Grossi pointed out in a press conference “both countries are in communication with the International Atomic Energy Agency.”
Also, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said, as reported by the Athens News Agency, that both countries “ask many questions about this idea, which aims to prevent military activities, such as the bombings that have caused damage to the power lines of the station and jeopardized its safety”.
