At least 20 people were injured by it explosion that flattened a two-story house near the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine on Saturday. Among the injured are five childrenof which three are hospitalized in critical conditionaccording to the governor of the region Serhii Lisak.
Images released on social media platforms show rescue teams searching the ruins of a damaged building. Rescuers freed at least four residents who were trapped in the rubble.
Reports attributed the explosion to a Russian missile attack, but the information has not been confirmed by the Ukrainian military.
Its president UkrainianVolodymyr Zelensky, wrote in his Telegram post that the explosion occurred between two houses. “Unfortunately, there are people under the rubble,” he wrote. Taking it for granted that this was a Russian attack, the Ukrainian president underlined that “once again, Russia proves that it is a terrorist state”.
