“Shots were fired at Sefir. Three bullets hit the driver, who is now in critical condition in the ICU. “Sefir is alive, he was not injured,” the source said.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed the assassination attempt against First Presidential Adviser Seri Sefir.
The police announcement about the attack
Police said in a statement that more than a dozen bullets hit the car near the village of Lesniki outside the capital Kiev.
“Today, around 10:00, fire was fired at the car of the First Presidential Adviser near the village of Lesniki. More than ten bullets hit the car. “The driver was injured,” the ministry said in a statement on Facebook.
The ministry added that a police investigation had been launched into the incident.
