Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov said today that members of the Chechen select group, who had been sent to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, had been killed.
“The special operation to be carried out by Kadyrov’s Chechens (President of Chechnya) was known to us. We received information from FSB representatives who do not want to take part in this bloody war. “Kadyrov’s group was immediately killed, which was sent specifically to assassinate our president,” Danilov said.
Danilov stated that this selected team was divided into two groups. “We were watching them. One was immediately killed in Gostomel and the other, let’s say, is in our sights.”
“We will not hand over to anyone, neither our president, nor our country. This is our land, get out of here,” Danilov added.
