“Feed supply in Germany and the European Union is safe, but major shortages can be expected in some non-EU countries – especially where shortages are already being recorded today, due to problems such as drought,” said Cem Ezdemir, Germany’s agriculture minister. .
“Rising prices for agricultural products can not be ruled out even in the most industrialized countries,” he added.
This year, Germany holds the rotating presidency of the Group of Seven most industrialized countries in the world.
