Ukraine has attacked a Russian city with drones, not far from a bomber base

Two Ukrainian drones were shot down early Wednesday morning 20/3 in the southwestern Russian region of Saratov, in the airspace of the city of Engels, by Russian air defense according to local authorities. Regional governor Roman Busargin said via Telegram that based on initial reports, there were no injuries or damage from falling debris in the city of about 200,000 residents, more than 500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The Russian armed forces say they have repeatedly repelled Ukrainian UAV attacks in Saratov, where the Engels-2 air base is located.
