THE International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is to send inspectors to two Ukrainian nuclear facilities in the coming days to investigate Moscow’s claims that Kyiv is building a ‘dirty bomb’, which the Ukrainian side categorically denies. “The International Atomic Energy Agency is aware of the allegations made on Sunday by the Russian Federation regarding alleged activities at two Ukrainian nuclear facilities,” the IAEA said in a statement, noting that both facilities are subject to inspections by the IAEA. and one of them had been inspected the previous month.

Meanwhile, Germany’s federal president arrived in Ukraine today for an official visit, which was not announced in advance for security reasons, according to German television network ntv.
It is the first visit to Ukrainian territory by the social-democratic former foreign minister, who has been criticized by Kyiv for his past policy towards Russia after the outbreak of the war on February 24. Previous visit was cancelled.
