New satellite images have surfaced showing increased military activity by Russian forces at various points near the border with Ukraine, amid fears that Russia could invade Moscow and launch an attack on its former Soviet neighbor.
According to Reuters, the private American company Maxar Technologies, which has been monitoring the concentration of Russian forces on the border for weeks, announced on Tuesday that the images taken on Sunday and Monday recorded significant new activity in Belarus, in the annexed Crimea. and in western Russia.

Maxar said troops and attack helicopters had arrived in the area, as well as new missions of attack aircraft and fighter-bombers at advanced positions.
The images also recorded the departure of several units of Russian ground forces from their positions along with other battle units moving in a phalanx formation.
