Ukraine: Incredible images of white phosphorus covering Bahamut

Shocking images of the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut being attacked by Russian forces, as footage released by its Ministry of Defense Ukrainian, white phosphorus has covered the whole city.

The Ukrainian authorities directly blame the Russia that uses phosphorus munitions that the toxic substance due to the excessively increased heating energy it produces is able to adhere to human skin causing burns that reach the bonesas a result cause death or inflict painful wounds on survivors that take time to heal. Even inhaling them can be fatal.

Other videos circulating on the Internet show “drops” of light shining down like rain in the city of eastern Ukraine and scattered fire outbreaks occur in the streets.

As the ministry claimed, the enemy forces aimed to hit “with incendiary munitions areas of Bahamut that have not been captured so far”. The Ukrainian military command said Moscow’s forces were continuing to “destroy the city”.

This highly toxic chemical is used by the military both to illuminate targets at night and as a smoke screen during the day. Use in civilian areas is considered a war crime as it causes irreparable damage to the human body, if not excruciating death.

However, the exact length of time the eerie images took place has not been determined.
