Ukraine carried out two attacks against Russia this Monday (27). Russian air defense units shot down a drone on the outskirts of Moscow, local official Andrei Vorobyov said.
Vorobyov said, via a Telegram message, that fragments of the intercepted drone fell on a private house around 9 pm (local time), in Balashikha, east of the capital. The people inside the house were not injured.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense units had destroyed a “small-scale aerial object.”
Luhansk under attack
The Russian-controlled city of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine suffered a second overnight attack, a Russian Foreign Ministry official said.
Rodion Miroshnik, the ministry's special ambassador, said city residents heard two explosions.
“It cannot be ruled out that the repeat attack occurred at the place where rescue teams are dealing with the consequences of the previous missile attack,” Miroshnik wrote in Telegram.
