The French newspaper Le Figaro, in today’s article, reports that during the fortification of its area Odessa from its inception Russian invasion, Ukrainian soldiers discovered ancient amphorae of Greek origin dating to the 5th or 4th century BC.
The exact location of this discovery is not mentioned in the announcements of the Ukrainian army. However, the soldiers stated that they were discovering fragments of vessels “every day”, sign of one archaeologically rich environmentwhich pwere handed over to the Archaeological Museum of Odessa.
