HMD Global has begun rolling out a software update based on the latest Android 11 operating system for the Nokia 3.2 smartphone.

At one time, Nokia 3.2 became the first smartphone of the brand with the function of unlocking using the user’s face. It debuted in early 2019 and was running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. In 2020, the smartphone has been updated to Android 10.

HMD Global planned to release Android 11 for Nokia 3.2 only in the third quarter of 2021, which will begin in April. Thus, the manufacturer is ahead of schedule.
The company is rolling out Android 11 in stages. And users in 34 countries will be the first to receive the update, including Ukraine, but not Russia.
