Ukraine: Protests against Invasion by City Residents Occupied by Russian Forces

Residents of some Ukrainian cities occupied by Russian forces took to the streets to protest against the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian news agency Interfax Ukraine reported today, the 11th day of the Russian campaign.

In the southern city of Nova Kakhovka, about 2,000 people protested against the invasion by waving Ukrainian flags and calling on Russian forces to leave, the agency said, citing local witnesses.

A similar protest by several hundred protesters took place today in the city of Kalasanka, as reported by the same news agency.

Demonstrations with many thousands of participants also took place in the cities of Berdyansk and Melitopol last week.
