Ukraine: Remains of the Russian army on the border show satellite images

The latest satellite images from the American company Maxar Technologies, which specializes in space technology, still record activity of its army Russia on the border with Ukraine, that is, in places where Moscow claims its forces are moving away. Similar statements were made today, Thursday, by the Russian Foreign Minister.

The US, NATO and a number of individual countries in the West dispute the Kremlin’s allegations, and these images seem to confirm this.

The photos show that Ukraine is surrounded, both on its border with Russia and with Belarus. These shots were taken in mid-February.

According to the BBC – which published this material – the fact that the Russians have “set up” a hospital in the training area Osipovichi in northwestern Belarus is a cause for concern.

The US has already drawn attention to such preparations. Analysts told Reuters a few days earlier that the concentration of blood at other Russian military bases on the border was just as worrying.

The BBC notes, however, that Russia’s military presence of about 30,000 troops in Belarus is part of a joint, scheduled exercise to be completed on 20 February.

Washington, in an estimate of the total number of Russian troops on the border, had initially spoken of 100,000. Later, it was estimated that there were 150,000 men.
