Ukraine reports Russian troops were repulsed in Dnipropetrovsk

The Ukrainian Army’s General Staff admitted that there was a promotion of the Russian army in the southeastern region of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, and today announced that it was repelled. “The Russian propaganda report on the occupation of a bridge in the Dnipropetrovsk area is therefore not true,” the General Staff said in its statement, adding that the Dacne settlement remains under Ukrainian control. Most Russian soldiers were killed during the defense and two soldiers were captured by the Ukrainian forces, the statement said. Earlier, Russian military observers had reported the occupation of the village of Dacne, located on the border between Dnipropetrovk and Donetsk. Ukrainian sources have confirmed battles in the Dacne area. During the night, the Russians launched 114 unmanned aircraft and four missiles in attacks that had targets in the areas of Harcovo, Hersona, Donetsk as well as Dnipropetrovsk.
