In a brief response to Russia’s new ceasefire announcement, the Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that “the Russian side announces a ‘regime of silence’ for the opening of humanitarian corridors tomorrow, March 9, from 9 am in Kiev “.
In a cable, the Armed Forces said that “Russia will request that Ukraine reach agreement on routes and opening times of humanitarian corridors and notify representatives of foreign embassies, the UN, OSCE and Red Cross by 2 hours in Kiev on March 9”.
But he ends: “It’s hard to trust the occupant.”
More on the announcement from Russia: Russia announced a new ceasefire starting at 10:00 am Moscow time (9:00 am Ukraine time / 2:00 am ET) on Wednesday, saying it is ready to provide evacuation corridors from Kiev, Chernihiv , Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol, along with other cities traded with the Ukrainian side.
Russian media reported the ceasefire parameters citing the Russian Coordination Headquarters for the Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.
