The adviser to the Ukrainian president, Mikhail Pontolyak, stated that Russia seeks the resumption of peace talks with Kyiv in order to deceive and mislead the public about its real intentions for war in Ukraine.
Russia, Pontoliak said in an online post, wants to give the impression that it is ready for dialogue while preparing to “stab in the back” Ukraine.
