Ukraine’s general staff said Sunday that Russian artillery was shelling in the direction of Kharkiv “along the entire line of contact,” Bloomberg reported.
There was also artillery fire in the Kramatorsk region, including near Sloviansk, and Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes near Bakhmut and in places towards Avdiyivka.
He stressed that Kiev forces have repelled Russian attacks in several eastern areas and fighting continues in some of them, according to the statement.
Russia also fired tanks and artillery along the contact line in the direction of southern Bukh and carried out airstrikes near Andriyevka, Bilokhirka and Velike Artakovo.
Ukrainian air force, missile and artillery units are continuing attacks against Russian manpower concentrations, equipment and ammunition depots, it said. An extended curfew remains in place in Mykolayiv, where three people were killed and 15 injured in bombings on Saturday.
