Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced today that Moscow is taking care of it British prisoners arrested in Ukraine and provides them with the necessary assistance.
“Do not worry, the Russian side is taking care of them. They are provided with food, water and the necessary assistance. As with other foreigners who have been handed over or detained“, Said the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova.
Two British detainees arrested by Russian forces in Ukraine have appeared on Russian state television on Monday, demanding that they be exchanged for Viktor Medvedev, a Ukrainian ally of President Vladimir Putin who is being held by Ukrainian authorities. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
