Ukraine: State of emergency could impose restrictions on travel and information

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today proposed to the Ukrainian parliament that a state of emergency be imposed on Ukraine from midnight tomorrow for 30 days as the country prepares for a possible large-scale military attack by Russia.

The draft text on the imposition of a state of emergency on the territory of Ukraine, which is expected to be approved today by the Ukrainian parliament, provides for a restriction on the movement of recruits in Ukraine.
