Kiev is ready to do whatever is necessary to restore the ceasefire in Donbas and is planning a tripartite meeting with the contact group tomorrow, Saturday, said Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Bee.
“We hope that such a meeting will take place tomorrow. We are ready to work, we are ready for dialogue, to do everything possible to continue the ceasefire and prevent the civilian population from suffering,” Veresuk said.
Ukraine has asked Germany and France to send observers to the OSCE mission to make an independent assessment of the situation in Donbas, he added.
“We need verification from independent sources. That is why we have turned to our Normandy partners and asked Germany and France to send representatives as soon as possible,” he explained.
