“We have information that Russia is intensifying its efforts to launch attacks against government facilities and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine in the coming days. Given Russia’s history (of actions) in Ukraine, we are concerned about the continued threat posed by Russian attacks on the civilian population and civilian infrastructure,” the official said, citing evidence gathered by US intelligence agencies.
