Grain stolen from Ukraine transported on 87 ships.
According to what the ambassador of Ukraine in Lebanon, Ihor Ostas, complained: “at the moment, there is a criminal system that facilitates the transportation of stolen grain from Ukraine. The transit can be made through Turkey and travel directly to Syria, as well as in other countries of the Middle East”.
The diplomat added that Ukraine recently managed to locate such a ship, the Syrian ship Laodicea, near Tripoli, although it was supposed to arrive at the port of Tartus. The vessel was detained for 144 hours and prosecuted. As a result, it was found that 8,000 tons of flour, which was on board, was processed in Krasnogvardiy in Crimea.
Investigators analyzed a bag of flour from Crimea and found all the evidence Ukraine needs to prove the crime.
