Russia continues to make demands that are unacceptable to Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said today, noting that the Ukrainian side is ready for negotiations with Russia, but not to surrender, Reuters reported.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also stated that Mariupol is under siege but still under Ukrainian control.
Kuleba stressed that Ukraine needs more munitions and weapons for the war, while he estimated that the sanctions so far are not enough to hit the Russian economy.
Kuleba said civilian lives could be saved if Ukraine had fighter jets and more attack planes to destroy large military phalanxes.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also pointed out that Belarus does not want to take part in the Russian invasion despite Russian pressure.
