By Ukrainian army to have intensified its strikes in its area Crimea and the threats to attack the Kerch bridge have not stopped, the country’s armed forces have decided to… troll the Russians with a video they uploaded to their Twitter account.
It shows a HIMARS missile-launching vehicle floating on a pink layer of sea and facing the Kerch Bridge. “Bridge of Kerch… We see you,” the caption said, and if nothing else it shows the mood of Ukrainians a day before the 31st anniversary of the country’s independence from the Soviet Union. The video quickly went viral.
However, the intelligence services of Ukraine warned that in the coming days there is an increased risk for attacks on military targets and civilian buildings throughout the territory. In addition, they reported that there is movement on Ukraine’s northern border with Russia.
The officials of the service estimate that Russian forces remain in the region so that the Ukrainians do not direct the forces that remain in Kyiv and its surroundings to the Donbas and Crimean fronts.
US warns of Russian attacks on government buildings
Meanwhile, the United States of America claims it has information that Russia is planning to launch new attacks against government facilities and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine soon, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed American official.
“We have information that Russia is intensifying its efforts to launch attacks against government facilities and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine in the coming days. Given Russia’s track record (of actions) in Ukraine, we are concerned about the continued threat posed by Russian attacks on the civilian population and civilian infrastructure,” the official said, citing evidence collected by US intelligence agencies.
