About 40 minutes from the center of Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia , the desert landscape full of cliffs has given way to a gigantic construction. Its about Qiddiya City a city with 25 districts that will be the entertainment, sports and cultural capital of the Middle Eastern country.
Already under construction, the city plans to have more than 400 attractions, including a park Six Flags with huge rides ; the world's first Dragon Ball theme park ; one water park in the middle of the desert with surf school ; golf courses and integrated stadium with retractable roof and LED wall.
The project extends over more than 360 km² and the time to cross the city is expected to be 25 minutes. It is connected to the capital by highways and will be part of Riyadh's public transport network. According to Qiddiya's official website, when construction is complete, 48 million visitors are expected annually and more than 600,000 residents.
