UN: Gaza Palestinians feel like ‘zombies’ left to their own devices

The UN humanitarian coordinator for the Palestinian territories, Muhannad Hadi, said today that the Palestinians of Gaza feel like they are ‘zombies’ left to their own devices, “‘You must see us as two million zombies left to their own devices.’ This is how the people of Gaza feel,” the UN official stressed, quoting a Palestinian he met on one of his many trips to the Gaza Strip. “Everything you take for granted or work for every day, doesn’t exist for the majority of the people of Gaza,” he said. “A lot of people don’t have anything to eat or they don’t have access to drinking water, electricity,” Hadi explained. “No one should have to suffer from war, bad politics.
