A boy was “trapped” in a machine with stuffed animal toys and was rescued by Queensland Police in Brisbane. The kid got trapped inside the machine after crawling into the prize compartment.
Police released a video of the rescue showing little Ethan, who didn't appear scared and he is in such a hurry to break freeas he is surrounded by a mountain of Hello Kitty stuffed animals while the police who rushed to the scene tried to find a way to get him out.
However, Ethan followed the instructions of the officers and went to one end of the machine and after closing his eyes to avoid injury, they broke the window and freed him, reports the Daily Mail.
Ethan was then safely returned to his family. “You won a prize, which one do you want?”, one of the policemen told him jokingly. Ethan's father, Timothy Hopper, told reporters on Thursday that it was “unbelievable” how quickly his son got into machine with the calipers after he had turned his back for a “split second” while they were out shopping. “He loves caliper machines… As he always does, he opened the flap to become an opportunist. Then, in a split second, he crawled into the machine, the door closing behind him. He stood up and realized what happened and he was the king of the mountain.” Hopper said his son had a fantastic time inside the machine, where he stayed for about 10-15 minutes.
