Anna Sorokin the false German heiress on which it is based “Inventing Anna” from Netflix, will have a reality show called“Delvey’s Dinner Club” as reported by Variety.

In a statement sent to journalists, the producer responsible for the program said that she now wants to tell her side of the story – after an article in New York Magazine revealed how she deceived the elite of the American metropolis, which ended up becoming a miniseries.

The reality will be recorded in the apartment where she has been serving her sentence since leaving prison.

“She will do so at what has already become one of the hottest tables in town – intimate invitation-only dinners at her home,” according to the press release carried by Variety and other international outlets.

According to the statement, she will host a series of guests throughout the week for “candid conversations where no topic is off-limits – including Anna’s experience within the criminal justice system, her strategy for rebuilding her image and her plans for the future.” ”.

The CEO of Butternut White, the production company responsible for the show, said: “It is often said that the best way to get to know someone is to share a meal with them. We are all desperate to know who Anna really is.”

Sorokin was convicted of larceny in 2019, in addition to several other financial crimes, for stealing more than $200,000 (more than R$ 1 billion) from investors and friends.

After being released from prison in 2021, she was detained by immigration authorities for overstaying her visa and remains under house arrest.
