Law enforcement agencies of Dagestan discovered a large mining farm. Underground miners are located in the capital of the republic – Makhachkala. The farm consisted of 1,500 ASIC miners.

“In the course of the activities, the illegal functioning of mining farms was discovered, 1,476 high-performance devices that produced digital currency were seized,” the agency quotes the words of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB.
So far, the cost of the confiscated equipment is unknown, as well as the volume of illegally consumed electricity. Now law enforcement agencies are assessing and collecting materials under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on illegal business and causing property damage.
At the beginning of the year, the FSB announced the liquidation of another large farm in Dagestan, and then it was reported that 4,343 pieces of equipment were seized for a total of 500 million rubles.
