Currently, 79% of energy production in the world is made from fossil fuels, such as oil, coal and natural gas. These energy matrices, however, accelerate the greenhouse effect, causing serious environmental impacts. Thinking about the future of the planet, the global effort for the so-called energy transition, a term used to define the movement to replace polluting fuels with clean and renewable sources, is fundamental. But this commitment goes beyond the issue of energy generation and also seeks to reassess the way we consume and reuse our natural resources.
To understand the benefits brought by the energy transition, as well as the new challenges and opportunities that these changes bring to the business world, Stéphanie Fleury, presenter of the Upload Project, spoke with market references in the generation and use of clean sources in her activities.
David Noronha is a serial entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Energy Source, a company specializing in battery recycling. In this video, David explains how reusing a lithium battery works and the positive impact of this practice on the production chain.
