The National Union of Central Bank Employees (Sinal) confirmed that the delay in the publication of the Focus Bulletin this Monday (21) is a consequence of the standard operation of BC servers. At 8:15 am, 10 minutes before the standard time for the release of the document, the BC informed that the report will only be published at 10 am.
The institution did not inform the reason for the delay in the publication of the Focus and did not confirm the union’s information. “Today’s delay, 3/21, of the Focus bulletin has to do with our mobilization. Other occurrences may be noticed in the coming days, but we cannot anticipate yet”, said the president of Sinal, Fabio Faiad.
Since March 17, BC servers have started daily outages from 2 pm to 6 pm. The mobilization aims to demand a salary readjustment for the category, as well as the restructuring of analysts’ careers.
“We expect an urgent meeting with the Minister of the Civil House, Ciro Nogueira, and also the sending of a letter from President Roberto Campos Neto to the Federal Government demanding a salary readjustment along the same lines as will be given to federal police officers,” said Faiad.
According to him, if the meetings do not take place until next Tuesday (22), when the employees will hold a new meeting, Sinal will begin to discuss strike proposals for an indefinite period.
