UniPatcher – allows you to apply patches to game ROMs. What patch? A patch is a file containing modified game data. For example, a game translated from Japanese into Russian. You are downloading a patch containing the translation. In order to get the Russian version of the game, you need to apply a patch to the Japanese version of the game.
Unipatcher supports the most popular patch formats:
- IPS for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega MegaDrive / Sega Genesis, Gameboy and other games
- UPS widely used in games on the Game Boy Advance console
- PPF created for Sony PlayStation games
- DPS for some Nintendo DS games
How to use the program? Very simple:
- Choose a patch.
- We choose a game.
- Press the “Save” button.
Very important: if the game and the patch are archived (zip, rar, 7z or other format), then you must first unpack them (I recommend the free ZArchiver program).
Additional functions:
- Checksum fix for Sega Mega Drive games.
- Removing/adding SMC title for Super Nintendo games.
You are welcome, read before download: this program will not help you hack android games, it is made for old console games.
