The downtown area of Nashville (Tennessee) was shaken by a strong explosion this Friday, December 25 at around 6:30 a.m. (1:30 p.m. French time), report several American media relayed by BFM TV. Police in the city of more than 1.2 million people said the blast was linked to a “vehicle” while local media spoke of a motorhome.
A police officer told WKRN TV station that it was an “intentional act” and that three people were injured and hospitalized with non-lethal injuries. A nearby building was reportedly blown away by the intensity of the explosion. On Twitter, Nashville firefighters say windows were also smashed, while a witness told CNN several vehicles destroyed by the flames.
