The complex divided its eight hotels into four categories, namely Premium (Loews Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Loews Royal Pacific Resort); Preferred (Loews Sapphire Falls Resort); Economy Plus (Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Universal’s Aventura Hotel); and the Economic (Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites ), the latter being, as the name implies, Universal’s most economical.

What are the benefits of staying at a hotel within the Universal complex?

Below are the benefits that encompass all categories, including the most economical.

• Convenience of being close to the parks and Universal CityWalk (the distances in Orlando are great and at peak times (entrance and exit from the parks) there is traffic;
• Free shuttle to parks and Universal CityWalk. All hotels offer buses (and in some properties, boats) that leave constantly for the parks – that is, saving time and money with parking lots;
• Enter the park up to one hour early in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter area and Volcano Bay water park;
• The room key comes with the guest’s name and works like a credit card throughout the complex. Purchases are directly credited to the hotel bill, so there is no need to worry about carrying your wallet/money inside the parks (guests must authorize this function in the hotel lobby);

How is it and what are the differentials of the Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites

The hotel with the best value for money in the complex is the Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites, which are actually two “twin” hotels.

They face each other, separated only by a large and typical Orlando avenue. Both are relaxed and offer exactly the same things, what changes is the decor, although the Surfside has fewer rooms and, consequently, is a little sparse in the common areas.

The Dockside Inn and Suites is the newest hotel in the complex, opened in late 2020, and offers 2,050 rooms, both standard and spacious two-bedroom suites, great for those traveling with family or groups.

In this option, there are two bedrooms (one separate) with three queen beds, that is, it accommodates up to six people with plenty of space for suitcases, in addition to having a small “kitchen” area with a table, microwave, fridge and coffee maker.
