A 27-year-old university student died after losing control of a watercraft and entering a mangrove forest, this Monday (14), on Gaibu beach, in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, about 24 kilometers from Recife (PE ).
According to the Civil Police, the victim was taken to a hospital, but did not survive his injuries. The authority stated that investigations are continuing until the incident is clarified.
Hospital da Restauração confirmed that the patient was treated at the unit and was admitted at 7:59 pm. The death occurred shortly afterwards, at around 8:12 pm.
The Union of Workers of the Federal Judiciary of Pernambuco published a note of condolence for the death of Larissa Belchior Gallindo, who was the daughter of the server of the Regional Electoral Court of Pernambuco (TRE-PE), Rynan Gallindo.
“We offer our solidarity in this moment of pain and pray for the spiritual comfort of Larissa’s family and friends.” The note also informed that the funeral was scheduled to take place at 4:30 pm, at the Memorial Cemetery, in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes.
