Samsung Electronics has released an update to the proprietary One UI 3.1 shell based on the latest version of the Android 11 operating system for the Galaxy XCover 4s smartphone.
A major update numbered G398FNXXUCCUF4 has already become available to users in Poland. In the near future, a release is expected in other European regions. After installing this update, the rugged smartphone should receive an updated user interface design and redesigned standard applications.
In addition to the standard innovations of Android 11 and One UI 3.1, the update also brings the June 2021 Android security update.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s smartphone debuted in 2019 at a price of around 300 euros. It has fairly simple characteristics and is designed for use in harsh environments. It originally came pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
