The standard version of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will have model number SM-G525F. The dual SIM variant will receive the model number SM-G525F_DS. An LTE version of the smartphone has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database, while a model with support for fifth generation networks is also expected.
According to unofficial information, the new smartphone will be equipped with a 5.3-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a single-chip Exynos 850 system, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory. The main camera is expected to use an image sensor with a resolution of 16 megapixels, as well as a lens with an aperture of F / 1.8. The front camera will receive a 5-megapixel image sensor and an F / 2.2 aperture lens.
The smartphone will receive a slot for microSD memory cards, NFC, Samsung Pay, Samsung Knox and Android 11 with One UI 3.x.
