Up to a year of battery life: Garmin unveils smartwatches for the toughest

The main highlight of the Garmin Enduro is its battery life. According to the manufacturer, the new product can operate on battery power for up to 65 days in smartwatch mode and up to 1 year in economy mode. This figure is achieved thanks to customizable power management modes and the presence of a special glass Power Glass with recharging from solar energy. With GPS turned on, the watch will work 70 hours on a single battery charge and an additional 10 hours will be provided by Power Glass.

The watch is equipped with an always-on screen with a diameter of 1.4 inches with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels. Tracks such as VO2 Max (maximum oxygen consumption), activity intensity and stress level, there is an optical heart rate monitor, an UltraRun rest timer, built-in recovery advice, daily recommended runs and cycling workouts. Water resistant (10 ATM)

The Garmin Pay contactless payment system is supported. The Garmin Enduro is priced at $ 800 in the steel version and $ 900 in the lightweight titanium version.
