Reddit users reported about the disclosure of the amounts in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Japanese yen that will be paid to users of Mt. Gox.

According to the screenshot, claims accounts now display a table with repayment status, amounts of completed and unfinished obligations.

Some platform clients reported that they received fiat money in their bank accounts.

“US dollars arrived in the HSBC currency account. […] The table was updated on March 15, then on April 8 and April 18, when the Bitcoin lines appeared. Hang in there, your time will come!” the message says.

Mt Gox is expected to distribute its assets of 142,000 BTC, 143,000 BCH and 69 billion yen to creditors by October 31, 2024.

In January, the platform confirmed customer addresses for compensation.

Mt.Gox clients have been waiting for ten years to get their money back. The civil rehabilitation process started in June 2018. In 2021, a Tokyo court approved the exchange plan.

The trustee submitted a proposal for reimbursement in December 2020. Details of the plan became known in January 2021, and in February the court approved it for a subsequent vote.

It started on May 31 and ended on October 20. The refund initiative was supported by about 83% of exchange users.
