Today, April 14, an updated version of the Kia Telluride crossover was officially presented at the New York Auto Show. The restyled version is fundamentally different from its predecessor both in body and interior – on the front side of the car, which has been changed almost completely, among other things, you can see a new radiator grille, more modern optics and impressive thresholds. New brake lights can also be seen at the rear of the crossover, which additionally acquired a set of stylish wheels and three new body colors. In the cabin, however, the changes are more standard for the industry.

For example, now instead of the old display with a diagonal of 10.25 inches, two screens are used at once (one is responsible for the dashboard, the second for the display of the multimedia system) with a diagonal of 12.3 inches – they are combined into a single wide panel. The car also received digital interior mirror technology, an automatic trunk closure function and decorative overlays along with the steering wheel. But the biggest change is the Kia Connect package, which now comes standard, turning the car into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Up to five devices can be connected to this hotspot, which is extremely convenient, and even now the car supports a very wide range of digital keys.

The manufacturer noted that now the list of optional equipment that can be turned into a digital key to use the crossover includes not only Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy line, but also smartwatches. True, at the moment we are talking exclusively about Apple Watch watches (generation restrictions have not yet been specified), but in the future, the number of available gadgets is likely to increase significantly. And the crossover can now be updated over the air – this applies to maps and tracking the car in case of theft.
