Uproar with agency that proposed to delete disabled children from school photo

Serious reactions arose from an agency that proposed to parents to delete from the school photo, all students with disabilities and especially children who use wheelchairs. Tempest photography, which took the school picture at Aboyne Primary School in Scotland, when giving parents offers for the images, stressed there was a “special package” which “does not include disabled children” and especially “those in wheelchairs or seriously ill health problems”. There was an immediate backlash with parents refusing to buy the photos and the Mirror reported that the school took a stand, noting that it was unaware of anything.
