Urtopia has launched a fundraising campaign for its new Urtopia Carbon E-Bike, which comes with a host of impressive features.
The bicycle frame is made of carbon fiber, thanks to which Urtopia Carbon weighs only 14 kg. It’s also loaded with technology that the manufacturer claims costs hundreds of dollars more from competitors.

First up is the Smooth Transmission system, which uses a Gates Carbon Drive belt for high responsiveness and a quiet ride. The transmission is also equipped with a torque sensor and five modes (Pedal, Eco, Comfort, Sport, Turbo).
The bike also received an innovative handlebar, which Urtopia calls Smartbar. It actually interacts with the driver, offering voice control support, real-time GPS, eSIM support, display, OTA update support. There are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G modules for connection.
For safety, you get a built-in radar and gyroscope. The radar warns the driver of approaching vehicles, while the gyroscope constantly monitors idle activity, sending alerts in case of any unwanted movement. There is also a fingerprint unlock.

For the US, the maximum speed is limited to 32 km/h, for Europe it is 26 km/h. The 250 W motor is powered by a 360 Wh battery that takes 2.5 hours to charge and has a range of almost 130 km.
Urtopia Carbon is equipped with front and rear lights, as well as a pair of projector lights with turn indicators. Most of the smart features can be controlled through the dedicated Urtopia app, which saves travel information, position, battery level, and more.

The bike is priced at $3,000.
