In a new escalation of tension in the Gaza Strip, the US has accused Hamas of attacking humanitarian staff in which two US workers were injured. The incident occurred at a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation Distribution Center (GHF) supported by the US and Israel. The injured are hospitalized out of danger while the international community is concerned with increasing volatility in the region. “The attack -which according to preliminary information was launched by two perpetrators who threw grenades against the Americans -occurred at the end of an otherwise successful distribution operation, during which thousands of Gaza residents received safe food,” GHF said.
