US Ambassador to Israel: “Witch hunt” Netanyahu’s trial for corruption

Israeli ambassador Mike Haccabi today expressed his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after attending his trial of corruption, and said Donald Trump was right to say he was a “hunt”. During the trial, which was postponed several times since it began, Netanyahu said he did not commit any illegal act. Its supporters believe that the process is politically motivated. US President Donald Trump has suffered loudly the Israeli prime minister, denouncing the trial last month on the Truth Social platform. As he attended the hearing today, Haccabi wrote on the X platform that he had drawn a “conclusion”: Donald Trump “is right again”. In his publication, Haccabi, republished Trump’s statements, according to which the trial is “a political hunt”, which “is very similar to the witch hunt I had to suffer”.
