US Army killed an Islamic State executive in Syria

The US military announced today that it has killed an Islamic State official during a Syrian operation in Syria. The operation led “to the death of an Islamic state leader, Dia Zauba Mosleh al -Hardani and his two adult sons”, according to the US administration for the Middle East (CentCom). These people “were a threat to the US, the Coalition, and the new Syrian government,” he added. Centcom also said that there were also three women and three children in the area, who were not injured. Washington has been carrying out strikes and raids in Syria for years to prevent the recurrence of the Islamic State. IK occupied large parts of Syria and Iraq in 2014 and founded them a “caliphate” that sowed terror in the area until its dissolution in 2019. Source: RES
