The US is demanding “full transparency” from Israel over the bombing of a UN school for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip that killed dozens of people. “The Israeli government has told us it will release more information about this strike, including the names of those killed,” and “we expect it to be fully transparent in releasing that information,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. A hospital in the Gaza Strip said yesterday that at least 37 people were killed in the bombing of a school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
