US house prices jumped almost 20% year-on-year in February, according to the S&P Case-Shiller.
Specifically, prices rose by 19.8% in February, after the annual jump of 18.6% recorded in January, marking the third largest increase in the index in its 35-year history.
The composite index of ten cities recorded an annual increase of 18.6%, after the jump of 17.3% in January. Respectively, the complex of 20 cities jumped by 20.2% from the previous 18.9%.
The largest price increases were in Phoenix, Tampa and Miami, with explosive rates of 32.9%, 32.6% and 29.7% respectively.
Respectively, the smallest increases were recorded in Minneapolis, New York and the capital Washington, although it was also in double digits.
